Home to the Rockie and the Diamonback professional baseball teams. This stadium is one of the nicer Arizona ball parks in the Cactus League Spring Training season. Tickets are affordable as well as easy to come by. The cheapest seats are the bleacher lawn seats that run no more than $20 to sit on the grass.
One of the fun things of Spring Training baseball is the great food at the ballparks. Salt River Field is no exception. The burgers and hot dogs are the best you are going to get at any professional stadium if not anywhere in the world.
One word of caution. The baseball is lively in the games. One must be aware of foul balls and home runs in the bleacher areas during play. If your not paying attention. You can easily get hurt by getting hit by the ball. I see it all the time in games. So be ready to duck, dodge or catch.
Salt River Field is definitely worthy of a professional baseball team. They have two. Like most Spring Training fields. Two teams share the same stadium and play at different times if they are not playing each other. Again, one of the nicer baseball fields in Arizona. Watch baseball here.
