| - An exceptional experience from start to finish. We were seated promptly upon arriving around 10 minutes early for our reservation, without any issues. Waiter was excellent in every way, from suggesting items that were enjoyable, to stopping by at proper times for drink refills, and ensuring the food was cooked correctly. We started with the king crab and avocado stack, which was recommended by our server, and were very happy. Moving on to a couple of steaks, the NY strip and bone-in KC strip, both ordered and cooked medium rare. The 28 day wet aged steaks were phenomenal, lightly seasoned to allow the flavor of the beef to shine, and served on exceptionally hot plates. I am also fairly sure the steaks are intentionally cut visibly larger than the estimated sizes listed on the menu, nothing wrong with feeling like you got a larger steak than expected. If I had to find something to nitpick, I would say the music choice didn't feel that it fit the restaurant atmosphere, going between older and current songs.
Yes Dominick's is an expensive restaurant, but I absolutely felt that the food and service quality justify the prices that they charge. This is a hard task when two people dine for over $200 after one drink and gratuity.
