  • You be the judge....my expectations are low, I know I'm renting but give me a break 1) I had a surprise visit/inspection. Management knocked once and didn't give me an opportunity to answer the door I usually use the peep hole when I'm not expecting company. Before I reach the door it's being opened, I rush to close it, don't know who's trying to get in. Hint for Mark Taylor Staff (MTS): knock 3 times ANNOUNCE yourself wait at least 5 seconds and repeat. Do this everytime you do a SURPRISE inspection. I told MTS to come back another time, they said they had to come. The police need warrants to come into house but these guys can do whatever they want. Complete invasion of privacy in my opinion. 2) My moving out bill. Utilities were double for what I pay a month. I moved out half way through the month. I was in a 1 bedroom apartment and the apartment only had carpet in the bedroom. I had to replace the carpet in the bedroom. I have a queen bed, two night stands and a bench inside the bedroom. This means that over 70% of the carpet was covered by furniture. I understand a cleaning fee but replacing the whole carpet, are you serious?! I have no pets/nonsmoker. Lease only for location, but expect to pay when you move out.
