  • I've been going to Playdium many times with my friend to save up for a grand prize which is the monkey in the photo. We probably went to Playdium atleast 10 times within the past few months. We could of easily just brought the huge doll with money for a cheaper deal but winning it with points you win from playing the games is more fun and a good way to spend quality time with someone. I enjoy Playdium because compared to other arcades in the Greater Toronto Area, the price you pay for the games and what you get from them is pretty worth. You can get a $30 playing card that would last for around two hours for two people. I'm very into rhythm games so the Dance Dance Relovution machine worked pretty well, same with Pump It Up machine. Majority of the adults don't enjoy the redemption games because it is intended to be made for young kids. However, the batting cages are amazing with different ranges of speed. Playdium also provides the helmets and cats. I suggest bringing batting gloves because it'll hurt a lot. Go-Karting is a must at Playdium but of course it's not specialized in Go-Kartings so it's not the best out of the other main Go-Karting places in Toronto. But it's a great price on Tuesday and Thursdays when laps are $2.22 each. Customer service is pretty decent and the workers at the entrance are always welcoming. If a machine runs out of tickets, you can easily find a worker and they'll help you and add more. The downside from this arcade is the bumper cars. It's extremely small and you cannot move much since no one is also ever playing in it. The commute using Public Transit is also a mission. We travel all the time from the far east side of Toronto to the west end of Toronto then board on the Mississauga buses. But it is worth because overall Playdium is an amazing arcade for all ages.
