Balzac's coffee is the new crack - only not bad for you like narcotics it is easily as addictive, and I'm left wanted nothing but the "good stuff" from this point forward.
Nestled in the lovely Distillery District I was told Balzac's was a must go and that I simply must have a latte of some sort, no black coffee this trip. I saw "Mocha" and realized it had been ages since I had drank one so I gave it a go. This mocha is what I would describe as ambrosia (the nectar of the gods); as I sat on the terrace enjoying said mocha I noted it taste like dark chocolate, my best friend who will now be know as my Balzac's dealer, informed indeed it was dark chocolate.
I left Toronto with a pound and Balzac's blend and a pound of espresso - any overweight luggage surcharges due to the coffee easily would have been worth it.
