We don't usually finance cars, preferring to pay cash outright, but found ourselves in a pickle and needing a car ASAP. The experience from start to finish at Towbin was very good. Salesperson Benny Santos was knowledgeable and efficient. I had to push back a little against a sales manager who wanted me to sign a "non-binding" document agreeing to buy the car if my husband liked it--if not binding, why do I need to sign anything? Why does my husband need to approve my purchase. I told him I wouldn't sign that, and he backed off immediately. The paperwork took several hours, with several periods of "I'll be right back" turning into 20+ minutes. Ultimately they were willing to negotiate and I walked out with a great deal and a very good car--2017 Dodge Journey. In the days after the purchase I had questions about an anti-theft device they had installed, and it was very, very difficult to get anyone to call me back. I must have called five times about that issue. Would recommend with caveat to make sure ALL questions are answered prior to driving away.
Pros: friendly staff, willing to negotiate, did not push accessories I did not want
Cons: post-sale customer service is sub par
