| - This review is based solely on the service, not the food.
Usually I associate casino restaurants with the height of service, especially the Wynn, but the hostesses really chapped my ass.
My Wife & I were meeting family for dinner. We arrived a bit later than our family, so were trying to meet up asap. The hostesses did not greet persons going in before us, and were deep in convo. We looked at each other confused & assumed it was a casual place, so we took a step inside too. Maybe that's the etiquette here? No one asked us anything. We never intended to be rude barbarians. We saw our family waiting, when the hostess briskly walked up to us, physically blocked our path demanding, "EXCUSE ME, CAN I HELP YOU, DO YOU HAVE A RESERVATION!". We felt so embarrassed - "Yes, *surname here*, we have a reservation, that's our family right over there". She wasn't believing still. Were we underdressed? Do we not belong? "WELL, I CAN -TAKE- YOU THERE,", she quipped.
K, B-tch, you do that. "Hi & welcome" also works well.
We felt so embarrassed & selfconscious as we sat down, not even an apology for the spectacle. Our family could see our upset.
Proceed to the waitress effing up our whole table's order & laying on the flirt with men at the table like spackle. I wouldn't have given a s*** if our order was correct, but she seriously missed like 3 entrees for the table. That's pretty bad. I understand it would be advantageous to flirt for a bachelor party or something, but it honestly made me & the other ladies at the table uncomfortable because it was all family & that man was our Dad, husband, brother, etc...and she was crouching down intimately...you get the idea.
Anyhow, the hostesses took the cake that night for making us feel like utter doodoo. Gracias.
