My experience in Living Spaces store in Arizona was good. My needs were attended, I was given options and everything was explained to me in detailed about the items/furnitures that I decided to purchase.
The problem happened during the delievery of my furnitures in San Diego. The first problem was when my bar cart wasn't delivered as scheduled together with my other furnitures. During the delivery of my bar cart I have to make some changes in my work schedule and I have to missed part of it. I called the customer service about this and they have me talked to a manager on the phone. The manager was pleasant and immediately apologized with the incident. During our conversation on the phone she informed me that I will receive a $400 worth of gift card from living spaces for the inconvenience they cause me. I thought that the value was quite ok since I bought a total of $4300 worth of furnitures from them. The manager, whom I failed to ask the name also told me that I will receive this gift card through my mail in a couple of days. She also told me to fill out 2 surveys from 2 different deliveries after 48 hours so I can get 2 coupons each worth $25 which I will receive from my email but there was no survey that came.
About two weeks later, I got a phone call from living spaces and I was surprised that my sofa was delivered 1 to 2 weeks earlier than expected which I was happy. During the phone call, I thought of asking the operator about the $400 gift card that their manager promised since my sofa was the last item that I was expecting from my entire purchase. Then the operator informed me that there was no $400 gift card but only $100 that is due to be delivered to me few days after the delivery of my sofa. I got disappointed again since living spaces failed to deliver what they promised to me as their customer. I thought that was the last problem that living spaces will give me, but apparently not, when my sofa was delivered, the throw pillows were not the right ones that I personally hand picked at their store.
Altogether, my experience with living spaces was disappointing and frustrating. This is by far the worse experience I had in a furniture store. This is really sad since the products in your store are of high quality but the customer service is below standard. Now, if I am asked if I would recommend this store, I would say no. Good customer service is always my top priority before anything else.
I believe my phone conversation with the manager was recorded. Someone has to investigate this matter so that there will be no customer again that will be given false promises by anyone from your management.
