  • We are new to the neighbourhood, and have been visiting this market for a few months. I love that it's within walking distance, and not so hip and overpopulated that I can't let my toddler roam out of the stroller. It's small, and less variety than we are used to (we are coming from the Wychwood Barns area), but we do a quick lap and can get lovely produce (fruits, garlic, zucchini, sweet potatoes, squash, kale), and a loaf of bread. I would love to see more things to munch on so we could make a lunch of it... Sausages and fries aren't going to cut it for us. I like the timing (Tuesday morning) because it's not too crowded and we can just get in and out easily. If we want to make an event of a market visit, we can go a little farther for a weekend trip (Brickworks, Wychwood, Leslieville)
