Very unsatisfied with Pure Barre. They recently did a Groupon deal for $x for 5 classes, redeemable within a month of activation. I'd purchased this deal.
So the instructions were that you had to email Pure Barre to get the class credit stored onto your account, which I did, but there had seemed to be a distinction between doing this and "activating" the deal. As it turns out, there was not. And had my friend who also purchased the Groupon not flagged this to me, I wouldn't have known that my deal had been activated. Clients should get to choose when to activate their deal.
Which is only the start of my woes.
The app doesn't work and keeps crashing! When I had tried to book classes for two weeks out, the very OPTION to be put on the waitlist doesn't even appear. Now that I've tried to use the app, I understand why the Groupon appeared to be such a good "deal"- it's because it's IMPOSSIBLE to book a class! I'm on multiple waitlists for classes that I doubt will actually free up. I'm currently dealing with Groupon about them not vetting Pure Barre enough to make sure that the deal could be redeemed, and I haven't even gone to a class yet but I'm already livid.
Unless they blocked off only certain classes for the Groupon deal, I wouldn't want to purchase any classes from them. They really need to get themselves together and ensure that clients who want to take their classes are actually able to.
