  • Would I go back? Nope. I've been to 3 playa cabanas now, and I just don't get the hype. The food is mediocre at best. Order: LA truck- really tender flank steak pieces topped with standard slaw and shredded lettuce. This was the only item I enjoyed. Also ordered chicken Tinga and a queso con something taco- both were unfortunately not flavourful enough to balance the strong taste of corn tortillas. I just don't like corn tortillas. Anyway, this location has a beautiful breezy rooftop patio deck, but if I didn't have good company, I wouldn't have even gone for the food.
