  • Came here on a Saturday night for my buddy's bachelor party; he had hyped about this place for a while now, saying it's the bastion of the best scrumpdiddlyumptious steak he's ever had for the exuberant amount of coins he paid with. Wasn't too super busy on a Saturday for a party of 8. The decor inside was your standard steak house affair, elegant with a lot of carpet and wood along with a dimly lit place to make women look prettier than they actually are. Got sat in the corner away from people, which is a plus for a bachelor's party since we do tend to get a bit loud and rowdy. Server was on point with every questions about the menu and played along with the joke when asked about using canned corn for their creamed corn (said they grew it in the back, good one). He checked on us frequently, made sure our drinks were full and see if there's anything else he can do to make our dining experience a good one. Did notice they had attractive women bring out the main course, I wonder if that heightens our appetite and puts a bit of bias on the meat, since we're already aroused at the sight of lovely ladies bearing steaks. Back to the steaks, we ordered four steaks and sides for eight people on a "family style" way, which I thought was awesome since I didn't know of any other steak house that did this, in fact, most will charge you a "sharing fee" for such action. I picked the uber expensive Wagyu Tomahawk chop, porterhouse, rib eye and strip steak on a medium rare, as no good steak should be eaten beyond medium rare. Not sure if their precious, secret "salt" is laced with meth or crack but man, these were some of the best steaks we ever had! Tender, juicy, flavorful are understatement. Even the toughest strip had juicy hint of tenderness to it. Wagyu axe was clearly the winner while ribeye and porterhouse were marbled beyond expectation. And the crust, did I tell you how excellent the salt/pepper/crack laced crust was? It was perfectly crisped with a just the right amount of salt, or maybe too much? Who knows, but we killed those steaks. Definitely going to bring back my wife here and eat more chops. Whether they made up the whole "double eagle" grading is mystery but these guys can call it whatever they want, triple turkey, quadruple hawk, these steaks are GREAT.
