  • I struggled with how many stars to give my review and here's why...it was my own fault I waited until the day before taxes were due to finalize my tax papers. That being said I called for an appointment and was able to secure one within the next hour. I showed up and was taken almost immediately. I felt confident that my tax preparer (Katherine H) was qualified and inputting everything the way it needed to be. Here's my issue: H&R Block's pricing. I believe it would have been $190 base rate but seeing as I had a w2 and 1099 is (if I'm not mistaken) the reason my filing cost me $325 ! I've gone to a private CPA in the past for less than half of that. So I just felt the pricing model was pretty high. But I appreciated getting an appointment and taken care of so quickly...so I suppose it is what it is.
