| - My husband and I used to come to this Chipotle 2x per week. We rebounded with this location after our rocky relationship with the North Olmsted location came to an end.
At first it was all sunshine and rainbows. The food tasted great, the online ordering was accurate, and the location convenient. However, more people must have caught on, and things gradually fell apart. The online ordering got more difficult because the restaurant was frequently backed up, so there would be a long wait time to order online, and unfortunately, once we arrived to pick it up the food, it was almost never ready anyway, and we would have to wait for someone to make it. The last few times we ordered online, our food was wrong every time. We tried to stick it out in the line, but we stood in a 30+ min line one time too many, and decided to forget that.
The straw that broke the camels back was that they would never drain the juice when they scooped the sofritas, so I ended up with soggy burritos or leaky bowls. It was only mildly annoying until one day the juice from a bowl leaked so badly that the wet bag ripped on the car ride home and dumped the juice all over my nice winter coat. We called for 3 hours until someone finally answered, and spoke to the manager, who said to come in another day and they'd comp us, which is typical. So we went in and waited in an obnoxiously long line (to make sure our food would be correct), and I noticed multiple people were also getting comped orders. So many people said to the cashier that their food was "a remake," that she turned to the line workers and told them they needed to "stop making so many mistakes!"
That was when we decided our relationship was through. We've gone to the Fairview Park location ever since then, and things have been much better there. Now, to be sure, I will still go to the Avon location if I'm in a pinch, and I will go to Avon ANY day over North Olmsted. But the long lines, innacurate orders, and sloppiness really put us off of this Chipotle.
