  • My daughter turned three on Halloween. She has been attending the Family Art class for approximately six months with Mr. Mike. She absolutely LOVES this class, as do I. Mr. Mike has a theme that he focuses on for the learners that changes at the beginning of each month. The class works on fine motor movement, they create a myriad of projects using as assortment of art tools, they read a book together that corresponds to the theme of the month, followed by Mr. Mike playing the guitar and singing a song and then they create some more before wrapping the class up and singing the "goodbye song". Mr. Mike is absolutely WONDERFUL with the kids. He is both calming and engaging. He sets the tone establishing a really fun, respectful, and kind environment for the kids to learn and create in. The room is always clean and neatly organized. We also attended our first music class today with Mr. Mike at the North Scottsdale Gymboree, and it did not disappoint. There was a cultural theme to the class, which was wonderful. The children were all engaged, dancing, playing with instruments, taking turns nicely, and expressing kindness towards one another. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The open gym, art/music rooms, and lavatory are always clean and organized. My family has enjoyed a very positive experience here. We highly recommend Mr. Mike and the Gymboree programs at the 7077 Bell Rd. location.
