  • 2016 Yelp 100 Review Challenge - 11/100 Books, books, books. I LOVE books! (Sang in the tune of "Boats, boats, boats!" from How I Met You're Mother) haha. I know. I'm trying to be funny & entertaining here. But seriously, I really do love books. I love bookstores. Bookstores are my second church. When I feel like I need a break from life or work... I turn to bookstores. Somehow I always find answers to problems when I'm in here. And they do have books for almost everything. From business, fears, creativity, cookbooks, spirituality, relationships, children's section, magazines, greeting cards, star wars, history, music, adult coloring books.... everythang. I have even found books from bloggers turn authors here. And books of writers I discovered on Instagram. If you don't find it here, a bookseller can help you find it either online or at another store. I always find some sort of inspiration for ideas on my writing, creativity, projects, and everything else I'm working on. Before I found God, I turned to books and bookstores for answers. And from what I've learned at this point in my life is that spirituality/God can be found in all things including books. The staff here is great. Sometimes I'll spend a few hours in here, acting as if it's a library and no employee here has asked me to leave. Which is much appreciated. Sometimes I'll come here after church with friends and have some amazing & inspirational conversations. Maybe it's being surrounded by books that inspires us to think creatively. If I can't find it at the library I can find it here. (i.e. the lastest bestsellers) Like most B&N's there's a Starbucks attached to it. With a patio and several tables outside as well. Hopefully my review inspired more people to read & check out the books, magazines & inspirational things here. I don't wanna see it close down like Borders did. I know, it's easier to get an ebook, but there's something special that I can't quite put the words to, that happens here. Also, you can't flip through the whole ebook on preview online. That's another reason why I come here. I like to skim through the book to see if I'd like to purchase it or not. Go and get you're read on! Happy Reading. And I hope you find something that inspires you.
