Staff-unfriendly and unimpressive
Overall feel--I'll never spend a penny in this spot and can't wait until they lock up and get an owner in there who actually cares and is supportive of the diverse community that makes up this city.
I asked to drop off Program Guides for the Inside Out Festival and was told that 'they didn't want to put them in the cafe because they just didn't have the room for them'. This was the only location in the city that actually refused to display these programs and I don't actually believe it was because they didn't have space...I mean, I've never walked into a cafe and not seen program guides, newspapers, and any other number of reading materials to occupy my time while I was enjoying my latte.
This place left a bad taste in my mouth and what is even funnier is that one of their direct competitors (Cafe Furbo) in the Distillery was more than happy to display the guides for their patrons to enjoy.
As a long time resident of the Distillery District, I'll do my best to tell people to avoid this place and to spend their money at Cafe Furbo...
Ci vediamo Cafe L'Ultima (loosely translated to 'if you were the last cafe on the planet, I'd give up drinking my espresso and start steeping more teas)
