  • It sucks that they get amazing musical talent to a place with such terrible and rude security. I went for a show, paid to get in, paid for drinks at their bar and was treated with nothing but disrespect from security. I was dancing when several security guards shoved their way past me. Understandable, they were after someone. But one security guard stopped right beside me and put his hand across my stomach and held it there for no reason. I said 'Excuse me? You don't need to put your hands on me.' He got rude with me, insulted me, and escorted me outside when I wasn't pleased about it. The same neanderthal guard I had heard infamous stories about treating other patrons like crap. Maybe the Monarch should give these 1 star reviews a read and find security that doesn't think they're some rogue police force that can abuse their power.
