  • Great new find tucked away in the shopping center near Ling and Louie's. Coffee, pastries, smoothies and ice cream. Fun atmosphere with good range of music playing. The ice cream is delish! It's not super rich but very creamy. Perfect texture. I got chocolate and vanilla cookies and cream. Good place for a date or for the family. They have some board games. What separates Scoop and Joy from just about everywhere else is the owner's genuinely happy personality. You can tell he's the kind of person that loves what he's doing. That creates a family-owned business vibe that is unique for this area of Scottsdale especially. If they're not busy and you get a waffle bowl you might even get a bonus animal sculpture. Highly recommended!
