  • Dr. Cooper was recommended to me and I've been taking my two dogs there for a few years now. I can honestly say that I believe they do care about animals. The front desk people are usually a 50/50 shot on how friendly or knowledgeable they are, but the vet techs and doctors Cooper & Graves do seem to try to be good people. With that said, having some history with these folks and having enough hindsight to create an overall picture of St. Francis, I'm now able to see a glaring pattern pretty clearly... Dr. Cooper does not appreciate questions or feedback. I seem to clash with him on a personal level as I'm a woman standing 6 feet tall, 300 pounds and have zero fear of asking direct questions pertaining to my dogs... Dr. Cooper seems to get clearly irritated with my uncensored dialog. Well that's just too bad Dr. Cooper... I make no apologies for not being a tiny, cookie cutter South Park wife that just takes whatever a doctor says as solid fact and happily pays you for it. So in conclusion; if you are an "in-the-box" / "sheep" type person that does whatever you're told and pays however much they feel like charging for your veterinarian care, then yes! St. Francis is the place for you... but if you feel like you should have your questions answered and our opinions taken into account on the healthcare choices of your animals that YOU are paying the bill for, then you should look elsewhere.
