| - Moving in was great, no issues there. Fixing things took way too long. Sink wouldn't drain in kitchen and took 10 days and 5 calls to get someone out to fix it. Doing dishes in the bathroom is not fun, not to mention the smell. I asked to move out early due to horrific neighbors and they were great about it. 600 dollar fee. My home was beautiful and it had multiple renters within hours. The walk throughs people talked about my decor and how clean it was.
For my final walk through, they wouldn't work with me on time, so I took off work. Showed up, and new renter was there to do initial walk through. Not appropriate at all, but he was a nice guy. I waited over an hour and the guy didn't show. Office just kept saying he was on way.
I emailed immediately as I had been burned on not doing a walk through previously. The manager assured me not to worry, they were not trying to keep my deposit, and he would send by end of week. 35 days, 5 emails, and 3 phone calls later, they not only took my whole 1700 dollar deposit, but sent me a bill for 250! They claimed painting and holes from hanging items in the walls! After almost 2 years of being there!
They charged 15 dollars for an outlet cover, and 70 for a remote back of a battery!
DON'T RENT FROM DENALI!!!!!! And if you are with them now, know your rights. Being at a final walk through is YOUR right. Getting the report of the final walk through is REQUIRED within 15 days in Arizona! And what's crazy, is as a nurse, I don't have the time to sue their butt, but what goes around ALWAYS comes around!
