My wife and I visited this past Saturday. We enjoyed the food and the ambiance and will definitely return. I only gave it three stars and as do need improvements but this is a new place so growing pains are to be expected. Having lived in Korea and enjoyed many a Korean restaurant in New York, Northern Virgina, and Maryland, I'm glad to see more of these in Charlotte.
- Pro - Interior is very nice and hip.
- Pro - Waitstaff was awesome.
Improvements Needed:
- K-Town Pancakes: These can be improved by adding more seafood like squid, baby octopus, etc besides just shrimp. The one thing that did bother me is that they expect you to cut them yourself using some provided scissors. Please please please, cut these into slices before serving them to customers.
- Bibimbap: it was just ok. The meat in it was hamburger which was really disappointing. It should have been bulgogi.
- Fries - Come on! Don't give me frozen fries that you reheated and fried.
Lastly, how can you not have Bulgogi Tacos! Seriously!
