I got the frozen pies, and when I baked them up at home, the pastry puffed up all light and flaky, with the filling all perfect inside. Some of the other reviews didn't find the filling all that special, and the main Aussie filling is largely ground beef + sauce + Vegemite, which might be nothing special for most people. I thought it was tasty, for what it was.
I also tried the Kiwi pie and the pulled pork pie, but the butter chicken was the most memorable :) I would eat that tasty butter chicken filling on its own, but it works really well in the flaky pastry.
