| - From pickup to drop off, this was the highlight of my trip, and that's saying a lot for Vegas! So nice to get off the strip and out if the casinos for a while.
This is a very small company, but that only made the experience better. Allison, the owner, and Lexie, the co-guide were sooooo friendly. The pickup was prompt, conversation was happy and lively, and the weather was great.
I'm pretty short, so Allison prepped my bike for me, slightly deflating the tires to make it even shorter than what the lowered seat allowed. She was very cognizant during the whole trip that starting and stopping for me was slightly more difficult. She kept an eye on me, so I felt very safe the entire time.
The ride itself through Red Rock was breathtaking. Because we were on bikes, and able to enjoy the scenery from that vantage point, I actually would say that I enjoyed this more than my Grand Canyon tour: drive to destination not as long, didn't have to wait for any tardy people, super friendly guides, and felt totally immersed in the experience.
If going in the February time frame, definitely bring gloves and a jacket. However, they can lend you a windbreaker and gloves if you don't have any. They also provided a great bottle of water (super sturdy) and trail mix.
They didn't overload you with info, but provided right amount of interesting facts, and ample opportunities to take photos. Instructions were clear, and it didn't feel rushed at all.
I would recommend this for people of all skill levels. As long as you can balance on a bike and are at least 4'11" (my height; maybe shorter if you know how to stop on a bike and lean to put your foot down and stabilize), riding the e-bike was a breeze (literally and figuratively). Don't be afraid to use the throttle! I've never ridden a moped but I can see the appeal now! And, since you can pedal too if you want, I got a nice little workout too!
All in all, a fabulous time. Thank you, Allison for creating this excursion, and thank you to you and Lexie for making this such a great time!!!
