well, where to begin??
my round trip flight to fly home for Christmas (which was booked 4 months in advance) long story short and trust me it is a long one.
my departing flight from phoenix was delayed because of "mechanical issues"?
in researching online the "mechanical issue" excuse Delta uses and appears to be quite often.
so, either its true and they are very unsafe to fly or they lie to customers and intentionally over book flights.
either way, not good!
then was placed on stand by, after three flights I was finally stuffed between two people in a very uncomfortable seat for over four hours! 13 hours in an airport!
then when arriving, my baggage that was left with Delta at the counter it was ran-sacked and Christmas gifts were actually stolen!!
then when flying home almost the same story if you can believe that! I even got bumped from first class to coach!
another 18 hours in an airport over 2 days that leg of the trip!
I lost an entire day of vacation due to Delta's lies and being unprepared!
then when finally getting back home in phoenix I have called 4 times, emailed 5 times and finally weeks later they email me and offer..... $150 DELTA FLIGHT VOUCHER!!!
are you kidding me?
Delta stole over $200 from me literally in my bags and not to mention everything else??
un-exceptable and un-reasenable!
very very poor customer service and very very poor baggage handling!
DO NOT FLY DELTA FOLKS!
