  • Incredible place. You can tell the owners put a lot of care into their recipes. Seems like they opened it on a budget, since the restaurant is an old, small diner trailer put on a lot in a not-so-great part of town (area has improved dramatically since they started, it's now a decent area). There are some bar seats inside, but the main dining area is a patio. I love the character of this diner. It's unique and friendly. My biggest complaint is that it could take up to 45 minutes for your food come out depending on how busy they are. However, the patio is a nice place to wait and enjoy drinks while you're waiting. Guessing this is a result of their tiny kitchen in the trailer and I hesitate to mention this complaint, since without that tiny kitchen Welcome Diner wouldn't be what it is.
