| - Love the layout of this Mall, love that the movie area is separate from the shopping zone, love the food court cleanliness and choices for take-out and of course the store selection.
I also like the fact that the vendors with the kiosks in the middle of the Mall aisles do not hassle you too much to stop and try their product. I have experienced this at other places and I hate brushing by them hoping that they do not see me!
Cross Iron is in a great location for us and when I first moved here I was in awe at the Bass Pro shop. Even if there is nothing of interest for you in there to buy, it is way cool. I would for sure bring an out of town visitor to Bass Pro just to see it - I have never seen anything like it.
I find that the Mall is never over-run and crazy-busy like Chinook is.
Over X-mas time, parking can be harder to find but nothing like Chinook's lot. We sometimes cannot even GET IN to that lot from the road!
Almost anything you could want or need is at Cross Iron including a pub, Boston Pizza, Gourmet Bagged Potato Chips, Second Cup for coffee, Timmys for a bagel, etc.
We buy a lot of our mix and match Keurig coffees from Timothy`s and we have made the trip to the Mall just for that on some days.
For an all indoor type Mall, I give it 4 stars.
TIP - the Mall usually closes at 9pm on weeknights so around 830pm, if you are hungry from all that shopping, head to the food court where the Chinese Food place is - they box up huge amounts of food for $5.99, a deal. What they pack up in one box can last me 3 meals!
For regular non-deal eats, I love the Thai Express.
