  • Just so people know... you can get 2 free passes to the Phoenix Zoo at all the Library locations in Scottsdale (I'm not sure about other library locations). Get there early, like before it opens as a lot of people try to get these passes. You can check online for when they will be available. As for the Zoo, it's a fun place to visit. I love the monkey exhibit and the orangutans and what's really fun is that this is one of the only Zoos in the country that allows you to bring your bike to get around. It makes it easier to see all the animals if you are on a schedule or if it's very hot out (like it often is in AZ). Definitely recommended especially since you can easily get free passes. For visitors to AZ, it's still worth the 18 bucks.
