  • Sophia is such a horrible person.. She doesn't care about her customers at all. She ruined my hair. I originally wanted a nice ombré blonde and my hair was very orange both times and the third time she toned it for me and I now have a reddish brown base and blue grey ends. Not to mention my hair is FRIED. I paid her $250 just to ruin my hair. This woman has called me her friend multiple times. She's been rude to me before and she texted me apologizing and saying that she feels bad and she told me she could get me blonde in only one session.. We did 3 days in a row of sessions and I'm still not blonde. She was telling me to go to her to do my hair so I trusted her. I've been very professional and so kind to her about the entire situation. After she ruined my hair I tried texting her to explain that I'm so unhappy with my hair and if I could please get a refund and she blocked my number so I called her salon number and she kept hanging up on me before I could even speak. So I went in to ask her very kindly if I could at least get a refund half of the $250 and she told me to leave or she'd call the cops. I was so nice about the whole situation and she lied to the police about everything. She told them that I was harassing her and making trouble to her. When I spoke to the police, he even said that there was clearly no criminal stuff going on and I did nothing wrong. She also told the police that I only paid for the toner she had to buy which was $32 when I actually paid her $250. She is a very horrible selfish and horrible person. She doesn't know what customer service is and gets mad and calls you "picky" when she messes your hair up or she doesn't do it how you wanted it the first time. I can't believe I ever trusted this lady. I wouldn't wish this upon anyone else so please do not go to Sophia for services. This is the worst salon I've been to my whole life. Update: (same day I wrote this review) I went and had a consultation with another hair stylist to see if she'd be able to fix my hair and I'm so glad she was able to for only $150.. Sophia was constantly telling me that no other hair stylist would be able to get my hair color to how I wanted it within one day and for less than the price she gave me which was $250 altogether. Those 3 days that I sat in Sophia's chair, the first day it took her 8 hours, the second day it took 6 hours and the third day it took her another 4 hours just to tone my hair... well I'm happy to say that I found a new hair stylist that fixed my hair and got to the EXACT color I wanted within 3 hours!!! I'm sorry Sophia, but doing hair isn't the right career for you. You take people's money and ruin people's hair and have no shame or care for it. Sophia has told me herself that she was changing her career and starting another business taking care of the elder with a friend because she gets "too many complaints about hair color" from her clients. Hm..... I wonder why? I just hope she takes care of the elder people and doesn't treat them like crap like she does to her customers that have been to her salon. But anyhow, to anyone that wants GREAT SERVICE and REALLY GOOD RESULTS, please go to Connie at 24/7 salon and spa on Tropicana. She is AMAZING at what she does and genuinely cares and takes pride in what she does. She won the best hair stylist award in 2015 and 2016. She's been doing hair for 20+ years. I highly recommend her! I wish I would've went to her the first time instead of giving Sophia that chance. But hey, everything happens for a reason and maybe I'm here writing this review to help save someone else from this happening to them..
