  • Always wanted to try Carlsbad Tavern and after I did everything was A-OK. The atmosphere inside actually trumped the food. I am not sure if I didn't get the right item on the menu or what it was. I ordered the blackened chicken wrap which was stuffed with blackened chicken, spinach, jalapeño bacon, roasted corn, tomatoes, guacamole ranch in a spinach tortilla. The wrap is served with a side of chile avocado salsa....... Not my favorite..... Another issue was the water, I couldn't even drink my glass and the lemon didn't help!
