  • Very nice hotel as you walk in. The lobby is very nice and smells great. Then I had to deal with checking in. The receptionist did not speak to me except to ask for ID and credit card. Instead she was bad mouthing co-workers on how they don't follow procedure with a fellow co-worker. She handed me my keys without any explanation on how to find the room. I got there and it took a good minute to finally open the door, the key was not registering. We walk in and all exclaim "it smells in here!" It smelled of smoke but I seen signs of it being a non-smoking room so I don't know what it was. We had a view overlooking the indoor swimming pool which was very nice. I had a hard time getting the door open and I couldn't even get it to close. There was something wrong in the alignment. I then used the restroom and as I went to wash my hands, I noticed I had a USED bar of soap to use! When we had walked in we noticed the room was cold so I tried changing the thermostat, twice. We went to sleep with it set at 90 degrees but we were freezing the whole night. When I awoke in the morning, I walked into the bathroom to find a dead roach!!! I talked with the front desk manager who asked me exactly where the roach was so she could let the pest control company know. She also said she would fix the temp for us. When I came back late that night, the temperature had been fixed and there were drink coupons and an apology under my door. The coupons were for Starbucks that they claim to have on property. It is not a Starbucks, they just brew Starbucks coffee. I am not able to review the coffee as there was never anyone there to help every time I walked by and I walked by it at least four times at all different hours. This place was a total disappointment and I would never recommend this place to anyone.
