| - I would give negative 5 stars if I could. I live around the corner from this Walmart, so the convenience is the only reason I've been there a million times. Last week I had some friends over, so I ran to this location to grab ingredients to make fajitas. I had bought pre-cooked steak slices there before that were fantastic, so I planned to buy those. When I got there, I looked for about 15 minutes and could not find the ones I had bought previously. The only "fajita" marinaded steak was Great Value's brand. I grabbed it, checked the expiration date (per usual), and grabbed my veggies on the way to check out. When I got home and opened the package, I thought the meat looked weird, but assumed maybe since it's packaged, pre-cooked, steak, it's just going to look off. I threw the steak in my pan w/ my veggies and began to cook. As I was cooking I noticed this one piece with mold on it!! I freaked out and took pictures only because I had friends over with their one year old. Had they given her a piece of the food, she would've gotten food poisoning, as well as all of us! I was furious and embarrassed! If it had been sitting in my fridge for weeks I would've blamed it on myself, but I literally bought this 20 minutes prior to attempting to cook it! If Walmart is going to force me to buy their brand, they should at least make sure it's good quality. I sent them a message with pictures and my experience and received no response. I have chosen to boycott Walmart for me and my family's sake. Driving 5-10 minutes out of my way is more worth it.
