| - This cute neighbourhood store has all the baby essentials that you could want. Prices are decent, but I would still compare with Amazon or BabiesRUs.
We came in to look at gliders, they have a good sized selection of different brands, and you can take your time trying out each one. We ended up purchasing a floor model that was on sale for 1/2 price!
It was a Saturday afternoon, and it got pretty busy. There is lots of staff around to help and they are quite knowledgeable, except when they need to defer to the owner to answer some basic questions.
The only thing I wasn't impressed about, was when one of the staff called the owner to help us with the chairs, I saw him come out and help with another couple for over 20 mins and counting until I asked an associate what's the deal. I found it a little rude to leave us hanging like that.
When he did get to us, he was super helpful in answering questions and we were left to our own , in our own time to make a decision.
We decided to buy the chair, and was told that someone will help us pack it up and take it to the car (my father in the street at the front of the store with an suv).. In the mdist of wrapping it, the person disappeared. And was helping someone else. After about 5-10 mins of waiting, asked the associate again, what's the deal? And she went to get him. This happened a few times, and it wasn't the workers fault. He was frustrated because he was asked to be in 3 places at once.
My only suggestion is to have staff be a bit more organized in serving customers. It wasn't like they were not attentive. I just don't appreciate being told something, then waiting.
