Got exactly what I expected from retro-feeling diner like this one. I was starving and really needed some food in me, and it was comforting and satisfying for occasions like this just the way it should have been.
I got a bowl of chili, pork chop and eggs (with toast), and some tea. Everything was fine. Nothing spectacular, but I mean... it's a 24 hour diner. Everything was well-cooked and tasted fine.
Minor complains include the cash-only aspect, the fact that they prebutter your toast (I never had a place not ask or just give it on the side tbh), and that nothing is seasoned! I hate trying to pour salt out of a shaker on luke-warm food and having the crystals not dissolve into the food or the food be salted evenly.. but if that's what you prefer...
I don't come here often and was stuck in the area waiting for an appointment, so this was a good breakfast. Dependable diner food exactly what I expected - comforting, well cooked, and it'll always be there 24 hours a day! The people seemed like regulars and the staff always joked around with them... it's a nice environment for a morning/late night meal (my usual diner hours). Maybe they'll even season your food and not butter your toast if you ask. Definitely better than any food I'd had at Eat'n Park at this hour.
