  • I came here with a bachelor party on Saturday afternoon. The place itself sits in downtown Millvale and is a short walk to the breweries and the bike trail. There are so many things to like about this place! Price is fantastic. For 2.5 - 3 hours you are taught to throw axes at a target, practice your technique, and compete in a tournament. for $35 a person this is great entertainment for your money. BYOB is a huge plus. Being able to bring in whatever crappy or craft beer is incredible. We could have walked down to either brewery and brought drinks back but instead decided to bring a cooler of beer from home. This worked out great for the bachelor party. Staff was friendly, fun, and kept things moving. The staff here knew exactly what they were doing in teaching technique and keeping people moving. No one was able to stand around too long and no one was bored. Event is very unique in Pittsburgh. This is the first axe throwing place I have ever heard of. It was positive experience for our group and I'm glad everything worked out so well here. Very well done thank you LumberjAxes!
