  • What a dive. I had to bash my shoulder into the door to get it to open. It kinda went downhill from there. The rooms are totally random. We had three rooms among us. My TV was like 13 inches and it was in the closet; everyone else's TV was 30 inches and took up most of their desk space. My room had no iron/ironing board, my coworker's iron was in her tiny closet, and my boss's iron was in the bathroom. My boss couldn't sit at his desk because it had no room for a chair. He had to sit on his bed to use his computer. My room only had two power outlets, the one under the desk and the one behind the nightstand. I had to move out the nightstand and the bed to get to it, and there were a few months worth of dustbunnies under there. There are only two lumpy Wal-Mart pillows and, to quote my boss, "I didn't know they even made double digit threadcount bed linens." The rooms have hardwood floors and the sound ricochets off the floor and walls like crazy. And the walls. The tissue paper walls. I could hear *EVERYTHING* including someone yelling at someone else in the hall to be quiet. The bathroom sink has no edge and the mirror is so close to the wall, you continually turn the light out with your elbow when you try to brush your teeth. All this I could deal with, but OMG I have never had such rude service, and I travel a LOT. I called for a question about my wireless access and the desk clerk said, "I have someone in front of me, I'll call you back." I fell asleep waiting for her to call back. Someone asked the desk clerk, in person, about the gym, and he said, "I'm not the concierge." It's not like they're snobby, they just don't care. Hospitality is not really their bag. Seriously, this place is run like a university extra-credit project. PRO TIP: Our cab driver told us their reception people are in league with certain cab drivers who rip off their customers on the way to the airport. Don't ask them to call a cab.
