  • My family and I celebrated our son's birthday on March 8th. My wife ordered a birthday cake from a local bakery that was delivered to the restaurant for the occasion. The restaurant approved the delivery and she was told there would be a $15 cutting fee. At the conclusion of the meal i was provided the bill which indeed included a $15 cutting fee...at $15 per person so $75 to cut 5 pieces of cake. Outrageous. When I questioned the charge I was told by David, the manager, the cutting fee was explained to my wife when she made the reservation (first lie) and then was explained a second time when we checked in (second lie). His solution was he would remind his staff to explain the cutting fee is per person. Not what I would have expected after two two lies and a $500 meal.
