  • Went to Cinestarz Cinema Mississauga to see "Get On Up" at an early afternoon Saturday matinee. Besides being a fine and very entertaining film, this movie-going trip compares very favourably to my annoying outing to the nearby Odeon CinePlex the previous week. Tickets were $5 and they ran no ads or other distracting annoyances -- just the movie, and one trailer for an upcoming film. Yay! The concession stand prices seem to be good too, although we didn't get anything this time out. They could have lit the inside of the theatre a little more before the film, and maybe played some background music, but really we couldn't complain. We plan to be back for more flicks in the very near future.
