St. Lawerence Market was a treat during a recent trip to TO. It was one of the food highlights as well. How can it not be?! Samples of smoked meats, pretzels with mustard, cheeses, yogurt, jams and fruits. Insider tip: come hungry!! Friendly counter service. Seafood and butcher vendors are also prevalent here. Lower level houses Canadian produced products, a bakery, fruit/juice/grains stands and fast food stalls. Fruit Market across the street is closed on Sundays. We made the Breakfast Peameal Sandwich and Tarts (Butter, Maple Walnut & Egg Custard) at Carousel Bakery AND free samples our Saturday brunch. Can be very crowded on weekend.
