| - This place has every board game imaginable (including indie games and kickstarter games). It costs $5 to play and you're able to stay for as long as you want which is really nice. On top of that, Thursday is college ID night, so you get 50% with your university ID. $2.50 to play games is really a deal, and we usually stay for a good few hours.
They have a cafe that serves coffee, sandwiches, snacks, drinks, etc. Their nutella banana sandwich is pretty solid and with it, you get to choose a drink and chips/tortilla chips/pretzels. When you're hungry while playing games, it'll do the job. You can keep a running tab as well which is helpful if you're staying there for a while, and when you leave, you just close out your tab at the front desk.
The staff at Meepleville are also on another level of friendly. Every single person I've met here have been so approachable and inviting. They'll recommend games depending on what you're looking for whether it be by genre, set up, or by # of people. They are also great at explaining the game and guiding you through it if it's your first time.
If you really like a game and decide you want to own it, they also sell games in the front section of the cafe!
Overall, this is a very unique place that's very fun for you and your friends. The service is great, the food is decent, and the games are plentiful. Meepleville is what you make of it, and when you come with your friends, you're in for an amazing time.
