I should have updated this months ago, but after becoming a new mom...I don't often think about things like carpet or the company that installed it. However, that doesn't mean I don't appreciate Lowe's reaching out about this issue and taking great effort into fixing my experience. A customer service rep from Lowe's HQ contacted me in September 2016 to help, and even issued a customer satisfaction payment to make up for the trouble we went through with this installation. I can't say I'll be jumping to choose Lowe's again for carpet installation, but at least they tried to make it right in the end.
