  • My dad and I have been here a few times, more when it was "Off the strip." We went in December of 2017 and then tonight. Back in December it was my dad, Sister, best friend and myself. I remember my best friend having the spaghetti and meatballs and I had the "wit calzone" I remember it not being so great. To be fair I don't remember why exactly but I was thoroughly underwhelmed with our food. Tonight Dad and I went again. Dad had the ribeye with house salad and I had the gnocchi Ragu with Caesar salad and we shared a meatball as an appetizer. The meatballs are HUGE, pretty good and have a slight spice to them. Overall delicious. I can't speak for dads meal. My gnocchi were pretty mushy. I usually don't order gnocchi since it can frequently be "wall paper paste." It wasn't terrible, I ate my whole plate, but I was less than thrilled. The sauce and sausage was delicious and probably why I finished my plate. The service was great and they were quick to refill my water and iced tea right away. At the end of the meal Dad said "this place is a pretty solid spot." So he likes it. But I told him I wasn't thrilled with it and that I felt it was sub par. I can't speak for the pricing since Dad always picks up the tab. The place isn't terrible, the service is great but I think the food frequently falls short. I don't plan on being back any time soon but I think Dad will.
