| - Markham's "Night It Up!" night market festival is one of the best, if not THE best, Asian food festivals to happen in GTA.
Many different vendors will sell all kinds of cultural-related street foods such as Chinese stinky tofu, Korean spicy kimchi, Japanese okonomiyaki, Filipino BBQ skewers, Vietnamese spring rolls, and much more!
Bring upwards of $30 to have a GOOD sample of different vendors. Some menu items cost $10, some $5, but overall for $30 you can get to try a good portion (3-4 different food items) of the festival without spending too much.
Prizes and promotions are also present in this pleasant party-palooza! Do some surveys and get something nice like sunglasses or a fan to protect against the hot day! Yes, Night It Up happens in the middle of July and it is hot, hoT, HOT outside! So wear sunsreen~
Overall, I recommend going to this festival as a small form of keeping in touch with your Asian culture.
