| - Do NOT rent through this agency. I won't give this place a single Star. I took a lease at 6812 Pleasantville court, 89149 in august 2013. The property was filthy (which Ray Cruz noted on the move-in sheet), it had not been landscaped in months and everything was over grown. Plus it had a very serious roach problem. I had to pay two maids $200 to clean it, and another $70 for landscaping. Plus my contract said I was obligated to have it professionally cleaned and landscaped when we moved out even though is was a disgusting shit pen when I moved in. Ray Cruz also told me that he would have the place bombed for pesticide prior to move in. Not only was the place not bombed before we moved, but the exterminator didn't come out for two more months after we took tenancy.
When the exterminator finally arrived it was monsoon season and it rained heavily just moments after he applied the spray and left. My bomb was not effective and I suffered from a severe roach infestation for 6 additional months, despite submitting numerous trouble tickets requesting a re-extermination and complaining about the roaches in my home.
I found roaches in my food, in my kids beds, in the bedroom closets, and even on my toothbrush in the upstairs master bathroom!!! I mean Jesus, talk about uninhabitable! I finally called Ray Cruz screaming in April for something to be done after dealing with this roach problem for 8 months. He agreed to send someone out again and the issue was finally handled. 8 months later....can you believe that?
Additionally, I submitted a trouble ticket informing Tradewind that the fridge had started making loud noises and that I was concerned it would break down back in September 2013. My submission went completely ignored. In June of 2014, 10 months after my trouble ticket submission, I came home to a completely melted fridge and freezer packed with food. Everything had spoiled. Nothing was salvageable. I immediately notified tradewind and it took them 21 days to have it repaired. I went 3 weeks with no way to store food in my house. Ray Cruz said he would only reimburse ice. ICE!!!!! What the hell am I gonna do with ice when everything was already spoiled? I am the mother of a 3 & 4 year old children. I couldn't feed them or keep any food in my home for them to eat. I had to get fast good every morning, every lunch and every dinner for 21 days. Talk about expensive and inconvenient. Tradewinds application clause states that they won't replace food lost in a downed appliances, so I lost $200 in fridge food. On too of that they refuse to give me a dime for the 21 days I went without being able to store food in my home.
The law states in Nevada that the rental agency has 48 hours to repair any appliance but Tradewind took 21 days! The law also states that I am entitled to withhold rent for the days my appliance was out but tradewind refused to allow any remedies. I am now being forced to sue through the court, and will have to wait months for a judgment from a judge.
Do not waste your time or money on this company. There are hundreds of thousands of rentals in Nevada! Keep looking!!!!! You'll thank me in the end.
