| - This is definitely a new favorite breakfast spot. My wife's favorite breakfast is eggs benedict, so unsurprisingly she ordered the California Eggs Benedict. The poached eggs were served on top of an English muffin with fresh avocado on the side and hollandaise to top the eggs off. The house fries were their version of hash browns.
I had a little more trouble deciding, as I usually try to taste new things. After much deliberation I decided on the El Patron Skillet. This cosists of a bed of country potatoes, cheese, chorizo, pickled jalapenos, and eggs done your way (I ordered mine scrambled). Salsa and sour cream are served on the side. You also get a choice of tortilla, toast, English muffin, or biscuit. I decided on the biscuit, which was huge!
My wife was pleasantly happy with her breakfast. Not many places do eggs Benedict to her liking, though she is not too picky. As for me, everything was delicious! The biscuit was not as fluffy as I hoped but nonetheless it was good.
The service was awesome. From the minute we went into the establishment, which resembles an old diner, everyone smiled and welcomed us without making it awkward. We felt their friendliness and overall attitude was genuine. We will definitely be coming back to this place. Thanks for the great food and service.
