My daughter's little hamster was very ill. Since all vets were closed when we realized, I rushed first thing in the morning to get to Greenwood Park Animal Hospital hoping to get her seen by a vet. When I got there, the receptionist informed me in a very detached and uncaring way that there were no appointments until late that afternoon. For a website that touts a warm and caring staff, I would disagree. Family pets are part of a family and if all the staff at a vet are unable to be empathic and at least pretend to care, they should be in a different industry. I would never support such a vet. Thankfully, I found another vet - Wellesley Animal Hospital. The receptionist was so lovely and genuinely concerned and Dr. Ma was amazing with my distraught daughter (and myself) when we discovered our beloved pet had cancer. We decided to put her to sleep and was so grateful to be in a caring environment.
