  • I stayed here with my athletic team when we traveled to Pittsburgh for a game. I have traveled all over the US and even internationally with my sports team and never have I been so disappointed in a hotel. The staff was very rude and no one at the facility seemed to enjoy their job. The evening front desk clerk was less than helpful. We provided them with everyone's room assignment and information up front but that didn't help, she handed us all of the room keys to figure out ourselves (we had 4 people per room and were only allowed 2 room keys, which we had to turn in upon checkout) On Saturday afternoon the front desk clerk was screaming (and I mean SCREAMING) at someone one the phone about a personal dispute non-stop for at least 3 hours. She could be heard through the elevator on the 3rd level. The day cleaning crew didn't seem to respect the patrons who were gathering in the common area. One man was vacuuming while a few patrons were conversing in the common area and I watched as he didn't seem to care, interrupting their conversations and vacuuming under the chairs they were sitting in and even knocking their feet with the vacuum. The place is located between an "Adult Novelty Store" and shares a parking lot with a pay per week hotel. The rooms were "cozy". There wasn't much moving room which can be expected when you have 4 people in a room. I was least impressed with the set up of the bathroom with the door directly facing the beds instead of on the side when you walk in the room (the door hit the bed when fully opened). I think the construction crew could have thought that one out a little better. Also their "State of the Art" athletic center is a very small room located on the 2nd floor which was also very disappointing. There is also no ATM on the premisses. Other than that, this hotel did have all new furnishings and was kept up well (although I had heard it was built recently) I feel that this hotel is severely mismanaged, my rating is solely based off of my interactions with the staff. If I had a choice to book here again in the near future, I will pass.
