  • This place had the freshest looking meat on my visit to St. Lawrence Market last Saturday with my Mom and Aunt. The Filet Mignon steaks I purchased were expensive ($7.00 each, tax included) but sweet baby Jesus, were they delicious. Only complaint is that the woman who served us, while very friendly, wasn't wearing gloves and proceeded to handle raw meat with her bare hands and then took our cash from us using the same hands she just touched the raw meat with. Eek! I thought maybe she used a different hand for each task, but my Aunt said she definitely didn't and was grossed out from purchasing anything from them.
