  • What a wonderful experience. I took a behind the scenes tour with Joelle. She was so knowledgable and energetic. The lions are magnificent. The facility is immaculate. And you could never get a closer look to the fabulous creatures. Ozzie the giraffe is so cool -- just watch out for that tongue. There are also all types of birds (that were rescued from deplorable conditions) and emus and ostrich's. Luckily I live close by and plan to go back -- OFTEN. So if you're local or an out of town visitor I highly recommend visiting. I an hope the cats are chatting when you're there -- it was so incredible to hear them talking/roaring with one another.
