Dinner Thursday February 15th. We decided to go and try Siena. A birthday celebration. I brought a small cake and candle for the occasion. More about that later. 2 of us ordered chix parm over angel hair pasta. Very good. The birthday girl ordered the recommended salmon, grilled over spinach. Great. I ordered a pizza, good and a small caesar salad. All and all the food was very good. The service was excellent. Now let me finish my cake story. Our waiter served the cake and we all sang, we had a very nice time, that is until the waiter brought us yne bill. He said that there was a service charge for the cake service. Not a problem I thought until I noticed the amount. $20.00 service charge. $10.00 would have been fine but $20.00 is excessive, no rediculous. When I asked the manager she seemed puzzled, she said she would check with the manager and just went about her business. Not a great way to run a business, what due think? When i handed her the cake upon arrival she did not mention a charge.
